Body

  1. 6 SC in a Magic Ring (6)
  2. INC 6 (12)
  3. SC, inc in next stitch (18)
  4. SC in next 2 and inc (24)
  5. SC in next 7, inc inc (27)
  6. Round 6-13 SC in all 2 (27)
  7. Put in eyes 
  8. Round 14: SC in next 7, DEC (24)
  9. Round 15: SC in next 2, DEC (18)
  10. Round 16: SC in next, DEC (12)
  11. Round 1: DEC 6 times
  12. Finish by sewing through front loops of every crochet stitch in the last rounds. Pull tight and finish
Ear (x2)

  1. 4 SC in a magic ring (4)
  2. SC, INC (6)
  3. Round 3-4: SC in all 6 stitches (6)
  4. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Flatten the ears
  5. Sew in the ear
  6. Fold the ear and sew the tip of the ear onto the body
Snout ( Darker Yarn)
  1. 6SC into Magic Ring (6)
  2. Fasten off with long tail
Legs (x4)
  1. 6 SC into magic Ring
Tail
  1. Ch 8
  2. Slst in next 7 stitches below (7)
  3. Fasten off and create curl
  4. Sew onto the body

Heart Amigurumi   (4mm needle) Abbreviations Inc (increase stitch: 2 stitches in 1 chain) SC (Single Crochet)  Dec (Decrease stitch: grab the first loop on the next 2 stitches and SC)   Crochet Heart Pattern Magic Ring 6 R1: Inc x6 [12] R2: (Sc, Inc) x6 [18] R3,4 & 5: Sc [18]  Stop here and cut the yarn leaving about 5 inches for later    Make 2 of the circles as above.   Cute Octopus (3. 5mm needle slightly bigger) (3mm so small one) I used 3mm Tentacle x8  R1: Magic Ring (6) R2: (Sc and INC in the stitch) Repeat 3 times (9) R3: SC and DEC Repeat 3 times (6) Slip Stich and fasten off Big Eye * Grab white yarn R1: Magic Ring (10) Small Eye R1: Magic Ring (6) Body Grab body main colour R1: Magic Ring (8) R2: Inc (16) R3: SC, next Inc (24) R4: SC in next 3 then INC in the next (30) R5: SC in all 30 R6: SC in next 4, INC in next ( 36) R7- R11: SC in all 36 (36) R12: SC next 4, DEC in next (30) R13: SC in all 30 (30) R14: SC in next 3, DEC in next ( 24) * Attach the eyes (around 11 and 12 stitch)  R15: Attach the tentacles          Flatten the tentacles and do 3 stiches on each tentacle R16: SC and DEC (16) R17: DEC 8 times (8) * Fasten off.
